For car hire, we recommend you use Cargest
We used to recommend brokers which almost always directed our clients to Europa Goldcar - however we received many disgruntled comments about queuing times (up to 2 hours) to collect cars and also about Europa Goldcar’s policy of always charging for a full tank of petrol, however little is used.
Cargest meet clients in the arrivals hall and drive them to their depot which is only a minute or two from the terminal building and immediately adjacent to the motorway. Clients report that their car is ready and waiting for them when they get there and processing their booking only takes a few minutes. Unlike most of the other car hire companies, Cargest also only charge for fuel used - vehicles are provided with a small amount of fuel in the tank and clients asked to return their vehicle with an equivalent amount.
Lastly, on the only occasion that a guest experienced technical problems with their car, Cargest employees drove a replacement vehicle to Benamocarra and didn’t insist that our guest find their own way back to the airport. Really good service! [We understand this level of service can’t be guaranteed but they will always go the extra mile if they can.]
